Blitz cracks me up. She is just sitting here looking at me with those big ears sticking straight up like radars. Every day upon my entry into the house, which is difficult as she is waiting with nose pressed to the door, she gets so excited. She does this funny little whimpering dance which involves alot of bending and stomping her front feet. After I let her out and she comes back in – after many futile attempts to catch the many squirrels which roam the property – we usually chase each other around the house. It is especially funny as all the floors are hardwood, and she often finds herself scrabbling to gain sure footing. She gets annoyed when I chase her around the table because even she begins to realize the utter futility of it. She can never get to the other side fast enough to bite my shoes. She does make me laugh and I will miss her intrusive cold wet nose waking me every morning at 6:45.
