Wonderbox XXIII

1989 Toyota SR5 Pickup

When I sold Wonderbox XXII a year ago, I did not think I would be driving the ministry truck for so long. I love driving Buttercup Jo, but I have had my eyes out for many years on a vintage-esque Toyota pickup. Something my dad would drive… only a little nicer! The other day, I was perusing Craig’s List for a car for Robert, and happened upon the perfect Toyota truck. It even came with a cool video. I went and checked it out on Friday evening and found it to be uh-mazing! Exactly what I have been looking for – something older, lots of miles, cheap, and not too rusty. It’s a 1989 SR5 with the V6. 4×4, 5 speed, extended cab, topper, and good tires. So she needs a little work, but I think it will be a fun vehicle to add to the Wonderbox lineup of cars.
