Wonderbox XVI

Well, finally after many weeks of searching, the Wonderbox XVI has arrived. Even though I love cars, I was truly tired of looking for them. Every time I would drive by a dealer, I would strain to see if there was anything even remotely interesting, only to be disappointed by the plethora of domestic vehicles that I would find. I had been looking for toyota truck for a long time, but anything I could afford [which isn’t very much] was just junk. One day, while desperately paging through the Indiana Auto RV [a fine publication, I might add] I discovered this 1993 Volvo 850 GLT.

It had every option known to man [almost] including those wonderful heated seats and the little windshield wipers on the headlights. So i called the guy and he told me about it and I thought ok cool. I called a couple days later to see if I could drive down to Peru and check it out. He had taken it to Ft. Wayne to get it fixed so I waited for the next week or so for it to be done. I called yesterday to see if it was done and they said it was, so I hoped the Dave Carey express straightaway to Peru. It was all was hoping for – a one owner car with every service check performed. They obviously garaged it and it is super clean. In addition, the work the dealer had done [$500 worth of new timing belt, etc] did not cost me anything. If I had bought it right when I saw it, I would have had to fix it later anyway, so God was definitely blessing me in ways that I did not even realize. I am excited and happy that God saw fit to give me such a nice car for so little money.
