What qualifies someone as artistic? As I just said to a friend, are you artistic when you run around with your camera and take pictures of rusted barbed wire or close ups of the stained tiles in the bathroom, the falling down shed with the rotting ’39 Ford or how about that extreme angle shot of your friend against the neon bar sign? I am not quite sure what qualifies someone as truly artistic or a poser… In fact, I dont even think I am artistic at times. People will come in and say ooo, that is so artsy (I hate that word) and I think it stinks and has no inspiration or originality at all. But for some reason it appeals to them. So does that make it art and me an artist? Just something to ponder here at 12:52am…
