Wellspring

Every time I come to visit the International House of Prayer, it never fails that I come into such a place of worship and intercession and it impacts and refreshes my spirit time and time again. It is amazing that this place, where worship and prayer is being lifted up to the Lord continually – day and night, night and day – has become such a wellspring of life for those who are thirsty and for those who are dry. Even tonight, as Mike Bickle just explained the 4-fold aspects of why they even do the House of Prayer idea, it brought such simplicity and clarity to what is occurring here. Intercession, Worship, The End Time Message, and Justice is what this is about, and each part is integral to the whole. Understanding the whole concept of God loving me even in my weakness is a theme that affected me so many times over the years, and it was again brought up tonight. During the worship tonight, a man walked up to me and spoke to me and told me that the King of kings loves me. That’s all he said, by those simple words impacted my heart, for when I think of the great King of the Universe looking down and loving me in the middle of all my junk, of all my feeble failings and finiteness, it just blows me away. So to be able to come to a place and be ministered to through the fragrant atmosphere of spiritual renewal is well worth the nine hours it takes to get here.
