The hospital is not a place I spend much time in. Nor do I like to. But here I am, sitting in the lounge at midnight. I’ve been here for a few hours now, with so many people from Voice and others — praying, singing, worshipping, laughing, talking, and hoping for a miracle. Ken Neilson is a man who loves Jesus and is a worshipper in the IHOP-Michiana. He and his wife Melanee have 8 children, and all of them are also musicians and worshippers. So awesome. Ken is in a coma, following a cardiac arrest early Wednesday morning. The amount of people who were here tonight was amazing. At one point there were 35 people crammed into his ICU room. Even more amazing was the leniency of the hospital staff in allowing it – not to mention the fact that we were all praying and worshipping quite loudly. It was awesome though. In a room down the hall another big group gather, reading the Bible, praying, and singing. So here it is…and here we are. And we are contending for the life of a man who so many love. We just keep believing that the Lord is going to do a great work tonight. Keep in prayer the Neilson family.
So awesome, I love the family of God. Feels good to know others have your back. Blessings to the Neilson family!!
