Today is election day. Don’t forget to vote!
Here’s my question of the day. What is the deal with people being so secretive about who they vote for? It’s like asking a woman how much she weighs. Why is it a crime to ask who you voted for? Is it that personal of an issue? I mean seriously, It’s either Bush, Kerry or Nader, unless you are a radical socialist or nazi or something… then I could understand the hesitancy. In any event, [in my opinion] it is not something to be ashamed of or embarrassed about! I say be proud. You have an awesome opportunity and privilege to be able to cast your vote, and as we all recall the stories… one vote can make a difference. Gore lost the White House by 537 votes in Florida. In a recent appearance in Florida, Gore said that he is proof that every vote counts. ”If anybody ever tells you that one vote doesn’t count, you tell them to come talk to me,” he said.
So yeah. Go vote. No excuses! By the way… I voted for President Bush, a fallible man who loves Jesus Christ.
i was gonna vote Nader, but i guess he was disqualified. (not really, i just thought it was funny that he was disqualified). I voted Bush. my favorite part about voting though is voting for the people who arent even running against anyone. cause you already know who is going to win, i just think its the best being able to still vote for them. heh.
