Well, the Wonderbox XVIII (that’s 18 for those of you in Winona Lake) is history. I sold it this morning. It was a Land Rover Discovery with 243,000 miles and about that many problems. Not really, but it needed major work, so I had to unload it before I went bankrupt trying to fix it. Funny how no one fixes “them there British cars” out here in middle Indiana.
So while I search for the next vehicle to bear the name Wonderbox, I am driving a 1978 Ford Econoline van with shag green carpet on the ceiling and floor, paneling on the walls, plush velor captain’s chairs and a radio that barely works out of one speaker with no bass whatsoever. But it runs great and gets me to where I need to go, so hey, God is good.
Jealousy. the only word i can think of. just Jealousy. grr-rrrr
Josh, I’d rather drive that than a “Mary Kay Mobile 😉
Let me know when you want a real vehicle 🙂

c’mon, man… if you can’t call a 1978 Ford Econoline with shag carpet a “wonderbox” i don’t know if there’s anything else you possibly could… seems like the perfect wonderbox to me.
Who are you kidding, Josh, the shag green carpet is your favorite feature. Your finally driving a stylish vehicle worthy of your fashion-forward way of life….;}
Josh! driving that thing looks like it would be a blast! It’s so fun and great lookin’.
