updates

Well I finally got around to slightly modifying wonderbox.cc. One of these days it will take on a completely renovated look, but until the day when time becomes a less scarce commodity, it shall remain like it is. At any rate, life here at Voice has been busy. Summer is usually the time when there is alot of outdoor things that need to be done. We are involved with several remodeling projects which require my attention. We are converting our front porch into two large offices and a reception area. Tomorrow, the drywall finisher is supposed to come and work on that. Also, we are putting sidewalks in. That’s supposed to occur tomorrow too. Then we are going to begin converting the pole barn into a Children’s Center complete with a large learning area, two bathrooms, and a storage / hvac room. The other side of the barn will be used for our food pantry program. While all that is going on, the grass hasn’t stopped growing, nor have the weeds. We desperately need to dig out the big pond, but so far, haven’t found an excavator in our price range. Meanwhile there is hay to be brought in so that our 20 horses will have food for the winter, and the guy we have doing it has equipment from like 80 years ago. So he is far behind on getting that in. But it is all good, and I would rather be busy instead of sitting on my hands. Speaking of that … that’s one of those weird phrases. Do people actually just sit on their hands for real?
