turkey on the trail

This is Sprout. She like a good lick every now and again.

Thursday is horse riding day. It is the day where I learn to become one with a 1,500 lb. animal. I have so far to go before I can even achieve the rank of novice equestrian. My big problem is trying to keep my body in some semblance of a straight line of posture. It is funny because Collette is always having to grab my leg and pull it back. “I don’t think my leg will bend that way, Collette.” Anyway, today was a little better in the posture department I think. So we were riding the trails and she showed me this wild turkey nest and the turkey was sitting on 6 eggs. I think that is the first time I have ever seen a wild bird sitting on a nest. So cool.
