Trifecta.

There is a way.
I will find it.
God will show me.

Jerry Reeder shared these words last night as he told of one of his amazing experiences while a missionary pilot in Indonesia. This is the essence of Hope, Confidence, and Faith. When things look bleak; when all seems impossible and you don’t see a way out; Hope rises up and confidently says, “There is a way!” You might not see the way — it might not yet even be in existence! But Hope says, “It’s there. Don’t worry.” This goes hand-in-hand with Confidence which says, “Listen, this is not an impossible situation because I am going to keep my eyes open until I find the way out.” And Hope is still speaking simultaneously saying, “Yup, there’s a way… I know it.” Then all of a sudden, Faith pipes up and says, “Hey guys, guess what… I agree! There’s a way, we will find it and God is gonna help us! I believe in One greater than this situation, and because of His great love, He will show me a way where there is no way!

“This is what God says, the God who builds a road right through the ocean,who carves a path through pounding waves … “Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There it is! I’m making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands.” [Is. 43]
