Gosh, I really need to go to the Pacific Northwest and some of the upper western states. I know I have missed lot. The cool thing is that I have driven through all of these states. I think in order to experience America, you need to drive it. By far, my longest trip was with Dave Pacheco driving from Indiana to California.
i wholeheartedly agree… in order to see anything, you must drive it. i’ve driven from ohio to arizona and back 2 times, indiana to california, pennsylvania to alaska(!) and washington to indiana. everything looks the same from 35,000 feet… you have to be at ground level to get anything out of a trip.
