To those who are wondering… I wrote this so you might have a better idea.

What is Voice Ministries?
After seriously seeking the Lord�s will as to leave Grace and go into full-time ministry, it is finally happening! I have accepted His call to join Voice Ministries, located in the Elkhart area. Founded over six years ago by Bob Deering, Voice Ministries is a multi-faceted Christian ministry organization.

One of its facets is The Meeting Place. This is a multi-denominational Tuesday evening meeting designed to encourage the body of Christ in unity with an extended worship time and some teaching and encouraging. On a given Tuesday, there are usually 15- 20 churches from all denominations represented.

Another facet of Voice Ministries is an inner-healing ministry called Theophostic Ministry. This Christ-centered counseling ministry is geared to set the captives free by removing the lies which are buried inside of us and replacing those lies with the truth that only Jesus can bring. Not only do people come from the local area, but nationally and internationally to receive this ministry of healing. There are also teaching and training sessions designed to equip and train people who are capable of helping the captives to be set free. I believe it is the job of the church to be involved with healing.

A new facet of the ministry is the International House of Prayer � Michiana. The House of Prayer is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. People have begun coming from all over the Indiana / Michigan area (and beyond) to pray and worship. Gas stations and supermarkets are open day and night to get fuel for our cars and food for our bodies. IHOP-M is there for people to come whenever they need to get alone in the presence of God, to worship and minister to Him, to be prayed for, and to be healed. Teams are being formed to provide worship and intercession around the clock.

We are trying to build bridges across denominational and racial lines, offering a safe place for people to gather and minister to God and enjoy His presence. We are attempting to answer Jesus� prayer for unity in John 17 where he asks the Father to make us one so all men will know that we are his disciples. When together, we passionately fall in love with Jesus, the world will be attracted to Him.

Voice Fellowship is a meeting for the people of Voice Ministries. Due to the nature of the ministry, it is hard for our people to get involved in a local church because of Sundays and evenings that involve ministering in various churches. We have teams available that can go out and lead worship and preach. Much of this is done in the local area, but we have traveled to other states as well. Currently we meet at a Saturday evening family style fellowship under the leadership of Scott Griffey and Bob Deering.

God has blessed us with a wonderful property in Osceola, Indiana. Currently most of the meetings and training takes place at The Camp. Situated on over 150 acres of beautiful woods, open fields and a winding stream and ponds, this 10,000 square foot house contains the International House of Prayer � Michiana, the Voice offices, healing rooms, and rooms for training and fellowship.

There are many more facets of the ministry still being developed. There is a tremendous move of God in this area and things are happening! There are plans for a coffee shop and bookstore and a recording studio.

What will I be doing there?
My job at Voice will be multi-faceted as well. In addition to using my graphic design and administrative abilities for the various print/music/electronic publications, image/public relational related issues, I will be working with starting and overseeing the store and coffee shop. Since we are a ministry, this will be a large part of my support. I also plan to continue to do freelance graphic design for support.
