Time is ticking … ticking away
At least that’s what “they” all say.
But what is time in the scope of eternity?
It’s just a jot, just a dot
On the pristine white of infinite space.
Time – another dimension –
The fourth, if you will
Beyond our ability to conquer
But wrapped up in our finite DNAs.
In the reality outside of us
Exists the One who holds time.
The infinite holds the finite
In the limitlessness of all that is…
Right in the palm of His theoretical, metaphysical hands.
