Men’s Fitness recently discovered this interesting information. Following is a list for 2003 of America’s fattest cities or, the cities with the highest percentages of obese inhabitants. I can’t believe that there were’nt more cities from Indiana on this list. It is scary to me to think of the obesity rate in America. In August, 55% of Americans were overweight and 29% were obese. Indiana is over 20% obese. Yikes!

A recent article in the Economist (https://www.economist.com/displaystory.cfm?story_id=2282754) also deals with this issue… They go so far as to say this “That leaves the question of what should happen in a state-financed health system. Why not tax fattening foodsweets, snacks and take-aways? That might discourage consumption of unhealthy food and recoup some of the costs of obesity.”
Josh,
Did you see that Albany,Schenectady and Troy,NY tied for the least stressfull place.
