Although I am thankful every day for the many blessings that God has given me, it is always good to have a national day to hit pause and reflect on the goodness of God and of those in our lives. I am so glad that I have been blessed with two families: – my parents, grandparents, brother and sister, nieces, nephew, uncles and aunts, cousins and then my family here in Indiana. Each one of you have had a part in shaping who I am; and for that I am thankful. I am grateful that I have had the privilege of living in a country that celebrates freedom and diversity – a place where we have “rights” and luxuries far beyond that of most of the world. I am thankful for the freedom to worship as I choose and that the One whom I worship has chosen to bless me so richly. I could post on this for a long while… but I will simply close now by expressing my love, gratitude and thanks to my family, friends, and my God for the awesome year it has been.
