Thought I would take a stroll on such an amazing day in March on this lovely beach on the coast. Yes folks, it is St. Patrick’s Day and I always enjoy these little jaunts across the sea to a land of green.
Tonight as I drove home through the countryside, I listened to my all time favorite Saturday evening pastime, Prairie Home Companion. Garrison Keeler & Co. ended the show with two beautiful songs… Irish Lullaby and Danny Boy. So beautiful and such a fitting end for the day. Here’s an Irish blessing to encourage your spirits:
“May the raindrops fall lightly on your brow.
May the soft winds freshen your spirit.
May the sunshine brighten your heart
May the burdens of the day rest lightly upon you.
And may God enfold you in the mantle of His love.”

One of the worst decisions we’ve ever made! What a horrible experience it was!
