So friends, we can now, without hesitation, walk right up to God in the holy place! Jesus has cleared the way by his blood � he acts as our priest before God. So let’s do it � confidenmt and full of belief that we are presentable inside and out. Lets keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word. Let’s see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out. Not avoiding worship as some do, but always spurring each other on � for the last days are upon us!
Do You see what this means? All those pioneers who blazed the way … All those veterans who cheered us on? It means we better get on with it! Strip down, start running and don’t quit! No extra spiritual fat � no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race that we are in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost site of where he was headed � that exhilerating finish in and with God � he could put up with anything along the way � cross, shame, whatever. But now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourself flagging in your faith, go over that story, item by item. That long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls. In this all-out match against sin, remember that others have suffered far worse than you, to say nothing of what Jesus went through!
