Sitting in a memorial service

Posted on Saturday 19 January 2002 by Joshua

Sitting in a memorial service yesterday afternoon to remember my friend Dave’s grandmother, I came across this written in the program [I am not sure who wrote it or where it comes from] :

I have held many things in my hands and have lost them all, but whatever I have placed in God’s hands I still posess.

She was 93 and a half years old. Imagine everything she saw and experienced in her lifetime. Imagine everything she is seeing and experiencing right now in heaven. I can only try to imagine. Grandma Ashman, I am glad you are with Jesus.
