Yesterday I look Robert for his driver test to get his permit. He passed the written part, so now he is able to drive. So, frighteningly enough, I let him drive home. Thankfully, a few years ago, I taught him how to drive a stick, so that wasn’t much of an issue. Now if we can just take that brick off his foot, we should be in good shape. Pray for my nerves during this time. As most of you know, I am usually “the driver” and am not a big fan of riding in cars. So this will be a little test of patience and being in control.
Mercy….I can’t believe he is able to drive. Oh how time passes. I will indeed be praying! 🙂
OH MY WORD!!! Thanks for the warning… I’ll steer away whenever I see a Black BMW coming down the road!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! 🙂
Well, I’m proud of both of you! Since it’s almost a right of passage to endure snide comments when learning to drive, I’ll say this, “I’m glad to have a few states in between us instead of just a few streets!” Now, having said that… I’m sure that Robert will do just fine. 🙂
Are you kidding! There’s nothing to worry about. I mean, Robert has all that tractor mowing experience. I imagine that if an obstacles get in his way he’ll just:
A. Stop on a dime
B. Reset
C. Mow it down
I’m sure he’ll make a wonderful trigger for all of those dealing with aggression while driving 🙂
Well, we all know he cannot even come close to being as bad a driver as Collin. I have taught all three of my oldest to drive and I am still here, and you can hardly notice that nervous tick anymore! 🙂
I’m sure Robert will be great. Besides, if Josh’ll let him drive the Beamer, then he must be pretty good. Right?
Lets get off the sidewalks, for here comes Robert!!!!
I don’t know who your callin’ brick foot, I’ve seen you a time or two driving “30 mph” down Refuge Dr. Go Robert!
hey now! i have reformed!
