Tonight in Kroger. A remake of the 80’s Talk Talk song “It’s my life” was playing in the store. The following conversation ensued:
Josh – Oh this is an old song… oh wait it’s the remake.
Robert – Yeah, it’s Pink.
Josh – uhhhh no…
Robert – or U2
Josh – what!?!? U2!?!?
Robert – yeah Pink was a singer for U2. (said very matter-of-factly)
Josh – what?!?! are you serious? She was not.
Josh – anyway it’s Gwen Stefani.
Robert – yeah that’s what I meant.
Josh – uh huh.
