Everyone is always doing these quizzes all the time … so I took one to discover how I am aligned politically. Check it out. I am a “Realist”.
Realists:
- Are guided more by practical considerations than ideological vision
- Believe US power is crucial to successful diplomacy – and vice versa
- Don’t want US policy options unduly limited by world opinion or ethical considerations
- Believe strong alliances are important to US interests
- Weigh the political costs of foreign action
- Believe foreign intervention must be dictated by compelling national interest
Historical realist: President Dwight D. Eisenhower
Modern realist: Secretary of State Colin Powell
I also took this quiz – The World’s Smallest Political Quiz and discovered that I am a left leaning Libertarian. Interesting…
LIBERTARIANS — support maximum liberty in both personal and economic matters. They advocate a much smaller government; one that is limited to protecting individuals from coercion and violence. Libertarians tend to embrace individual responsibility, oppose government bureaucracy and taxes, promote private charity, tolerate diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties.
The RED DOT on the Chart shows where you fit on the political map.
Your PERSONAL issues Score is 100%.
Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 80%.
Colin Powell a realist? Well maybe, but he’s a poor example of a good one because he let his personal agendas get in the way when he worked for President Bush. Yeah, way to go, outright unsupport of the guy you work for on national TV, over and over.
the funny thing is that i always consider myself a conservative reformist… maybe thats what a libertarian realist it.
nevermind I found it, I am a centrist, I would have been a libertarian except for the censorship question.
where did you get this test?
