In my “down time” I work around the house. Weird, but true. I actually enjoy doing little projects (especially outside ones) around the house and this was one of my recent ones. Denny has been planting tons of flowers and plants along the woods in our backyard, and we decided to add an arbor to the mix. Actually, there has been some discussion on what to call these things. Is it a pergola, and arbor, or a treliis? Well, I say an arbor because plants grow up and over it and you can walk through it. I could just look it up, but I am tired and on my way to bed. So here’s a picture of the pergolarborellis that I built with the assistance of Robert, Denny and Collin.
Collette Mee was the first honorary guest to walk under it, and Aaron Griffey (her son) was the first honorary guest to sit on it. He noticed that the angle was a 44.8 degree angle, as opposed to a 45, and I appreciated his honesty in such a crucial matter. Thanks Aaron.
Looks amazing! 🙂
I’m not sure what it’s called but I think a pergola is one of those but atatched to a house. Theres my 1.2 cents I guess.
Beautiful Josh you can build one at my house anytime.
