This is, essentially, my sister’s backyard.
After a brief respite, I took to the road again on Friday. This time it was off to the beautiful fall-touched mountains of upstate NY to visit my family (none of which knew I was coming). So I made my way up Rt. 30 to Sara’s house. Matt and Trish were already there and they knew I was coming (they arranged for it, actually). I came in and Mom and Sara were pretty excited. It was awesome. I love those kinds of surprises. So I got to hang out with them for a while. Saturday I got to talk to Dad for a while and then we all went up to Sara’s. It was so good to see everyone. I drove back yesterday. Needless to say, I am pretty stinkin tired of driving. In the past 2 weeks I have spent something like $489 on gas and almost 50 hours on the road.
Josh,
It was so great to see you, Matt and Tricia, Sara and all the kids.It was kind of like the old days. Scott and Sandy should have been there………And you got to meet Whitney .
