Okay… Dave Pacheco and I started our insane journaey across the good old US of A. I guess it is not really that insane, but, just insanely long. We made it to Kansas City, MO the first night, and now we are in Denver, CO. Tomorrow we hit the long road over the mountains to Las Vegas, NV. I am really looking forward to seeing it. So far we have had a great time! We are keeping a fun filled journal/logbook about events that occur along the way, so when that is done, maybe I will get ambitious enough to post it online on the site somewhere.
We are riding in the schools white 98 Ford van, which we have dubbed “Petricheco’s Speedy Motorcoach.” I even created a fun logo to put on the windows for it. It isn’t a bad ride at all… has air, cruise, and tinted glass. We even rigged up a CD player with a little duct tape. At one point in the trip, the front marker light just disappeared somewhere. That was odd.
