Last weekend I had the privilege of hanging out with this cool girl named Samii. Now I don’t have a whole lot of experience taking care of girls, especially when threatened with bodily injury by Daddy if any harm should befall her. What I did not realize, although I should have guessed it, was that this was no ordinary Miss Priss. No, no. She wanted to go 4 wheeling and ride tractors and hide in closets and ring door bells and play ball outside. I’m quite sure, given what I know of her and my friend Dave’s relationship, that she would have given me eyebrow, indian burn or some other torturous injury if I had allowed such a thing. But it was my first time, so she probably went easy on me. I taught her to ride the 4 wheeler. She was a bit aggressive at first but I think she scared herself, so she calmed down a bit. It was a fun time and I know that this one is going to do great things for God. She has great parents and is in a great environment. Check out the Stark family blog for more insight! By the way, we got by with only one burn on the leg from the tractor. She barely even flinched until later when she finally admitted it was hurting her. She’s a tough one!
I LOVE THIS PHOTO!! 🙂
What a great time! I can’t wait till I get to hang out with them again too! 🙂
I got to see the burn first hand this weekend. Well, it happens to the best of us, Uncle Josh. She said it was so much fun (the hanging out, not the burn).
I love this color scheme Josh.
hey buddy, she had an absolute ball with you! How funny!
You were instantly deemed uncle Josh.
I think you’re right though, she must’ve taken it easy on you.
Her “norm” is switching into rabid monkey gripper mode and giving you eyebrows till you cry for mercy or your mommy . . . . whatever comes first. Just ask uncle Dave. 🙂
How fun!!!!! I miss that girl! I am scared to ask this but what are “eyebrows” I mean I know what eyebrows are but….what is Samii’s version? Hahahha! She’s just so darn cute! Good job Uncle Josh!!!
