My good friend Jesse came to visit me last night. Drove all the way out here and managed to find me. We went to Sufficient Grounds coffeeshop where we enjoyed a concert by some of the guys who are part of the ministry here at Voice. They rocked, of course. So we were playing checkers and these two little kids came up and wanted to “help us” play. It was so funny. Actually one of them, Neil, was pretty decent at it. Soon enough there was this crowd of under 5ers gathered around our table. It was hilarious. After several games, we ended up going over to IHOP at midnight for some breakfast at midnight… mmmmm…. It is so nice to live so close to so much. 10 miles down the road is Barnes & Noble, and every restaurant I could ever want … that and every car dealer imaginable… ahhhhh… anyway, it was cool. Tonight is church and much to be done today.
