We got 7″ of snow dumped on us last night (according to my official measurement from the roof of the prelude cross referenced with the roof of the 4Runner) which ensured that I was going to be plowing early this morning. A really cool guy in our church donated a plow to us and we had it put on “my” operations truck. Robert had some fun shoveling last night while Denny plowed with his jeep. I just stayed inside and made a nice fire and then we played UNO… which I handily won three times.
In other news, sometime last night, a new colt was born at the Forerunner Ranch, finally at long last! We were not sure if Salvation (the mom) was ever going to have this baby, but she must not have wanted anyone watching her. The colt is so pretty. He is what is called a buckskin and has some cool spots as well. I am not sure of his name yet, but I think Denny and Ev are going to call him miracle because Salvation was not supposed to be able to have any more babies after her last one died a few years ago (before we got her).
He is soo beautiful!
