Wow, what a long week. We have been in the process of moving to a new facility (at least some of our operations) and it culminated yesterday at 10:30am when two bodies of believers came together as one under a new name – Voice17. The scary thing is that even though we now have a big auditorium, it was completely full… the first day. It was so awesome to see it that way though. One lady who had been attending there said to me, with tears of joy in her eyes, “We have waited and prayed so long for this place to be filled, and now here we are and it is so far beyond what we expected.” After the meeting, there was lots of food and a time of fellowship, getting to know people, etc.
There is still lots of work to do over there. For one, I have to reorganize all the chairs so that, somehow, we will be able to get more people in without breaking the fire code. That will be a challenge. The Meeting Place is coming up on Tuesday and we want to get some stage cool lights up and running today, and then I have to figure out this new projector we just got. For some reason it is not as bright as it should be. I think I should read the manual.
We were doing a timeline history of Voice on Thursday, and we moved to the Camp 3 years ago this month. God is good and we have come a long way since then.
Its a super beautiful thing. I love it!
