litter?

I saw this on a t-shirt recently. My questions were: Are the teachings of a man who promoted peace and love; of a man who unconditionally loved people of all races and creeds as they were; of a man who was willing to die for His beliefs; a man who who went out of his way to heal the sick and many other miraculous wonders; and who spoke of a place beyond imagination that we could be a part of if we accepted his free gift of salvation; the belief in someone much bigger than me, who ordered the universe and set it into motion; a God/man who came to earth as one of us and died for humanity.

If Christianity is littering my mind, then what are the alternatives offered? Filling my mind with the theories and ideologies of a world that is swiftly degenerating – culturally, morally, ethically, spiritually, and in natural resources? Of a world that is hostile and intolerant of anyone who has views other than theirs. Of a world where children are taught sexuality and violence from infancy. Where there is no hope after death. Where life is every man for himself. Because a world without christianity – even in it’s most general sense – is a world on it’s way to certain destruction.

Littering my mind? I don’t think so.

Good thoughts, Josh… interesting that Islam got one symbol and Judaism got one, but Christianity got TWO… the cross AND the fish. We must be DOUBLY dangerous… 🙂 That’s the way it should be, I guess. The truth is always dangerous.
