Well, this morning began at 6 with a nice long road trip west to the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, MO. It was a great drive and we made it in good time. Robert is looking at Forerunner School of Ministry and, naturally, I need no excuse to come here. Sadly, it has been two years since I was here last and it is quite different now that they are broadcasting live on GOD TV. There are cameras and lights and the sounds is way better than it used to be. I am real big on sound and I love the fact that every beat of the drum is crisp and the vocals are excellent. Even with all the changes, it is still the same passionate place it always was – just more crowded now. So I am very much looking forward to having some good quality soak time in here for the next few days. We will also be visiting our good friends the Careys & the Starks who are spending some time here as well. More updates will follow, I am sure.
Oh you could be in trouble for not telling me that you were making that drive. Enjoy boys!
I pray you boys have a great time. Enjoy and say hello to my sweet friends. 🙂
We are so glad that you guys are here! It took me awhile to get used to the cameras too. In the early morning they make you sit up front, in like the first five rows. So, to avoid that, I just walk in the back. My legs are about to fall off, but I am happy back there with the Lord. Actually there is a little community of “back of the room” walkers. I see the same people back there every morning, we smile at each other and say good morning. It’s nice!
Anyway, I don’t even notice the cameras anymore (although I still don’t pick to sit up front). 🙂
