Just sitting here in California checking my email and thought I would write a couple words. I am at Biola University, and fortunately for me, they left the internet access in the dorms on, so I just plugged into my ethernet and voila! it worked!
Las Vegas was quite a city. Architecturally speaking it was a conglomeration of about every imaginable style – from the mini skyline of New York, to Paris, to the Greco-Roman Caear’s palace, to the ornate Italianate Venitian, to the ultra classy Bellagio, to the egyptian Luxor, and the persian-esque Aladdin to name a few. Inside they were similar – opulent, plush and lots of gambling opportunities. They all had their ploys. We stayed at the Sahara – featuring a cool rollercoaster and the NASCAR cafe with actual cars in it. The room was pretty nice, although farther from the center of town that I would have liked. But at $32 a night, you can’t complain too much.
