It’s been to long! Tonight was the first night this school year that people came over to hang out, play some of the good old games like Jenga, Afghani Camel Hump and Trivial Pursuit. It was a jolly good time. The worst part was when Kristi decided to make coffee. I keep a darned clean house and I pride myself in that fact. (I had just spent a better part of the afternoon scrubbing the bathroom and waxing the floor.) Anyway, she goes to put in a filter and gave this tremendous shriek. Unfortunately, whoever had made the coffee last had forgotten to remove the filter. And whoever made the coffee last made it like a month ago. Because there was some serious mold in there. I of course was besides myself with horror at the thought of something that vulgar and dirty in my sparkling kitchen. But since I do not drink coffee, how could I have known what was growing in there. Anyway, my many many apologies to Kristi for having the unfortunate discovery of the ancient ruins of the coffee filter. Some hot water and Joy detergent quickly rectified that situation.
