I finally got around to seeing the photos of the Iraq prisons that everyone has been outraged about. I agree, they were abhorrent. That kind of behavior is totally not justified. Personally, I think those soldiers will live with alot of regret for a long time. As far as Rumsfeld and staff – the man obviously knew about it, was too afraid to take responsibility – too busy playing politician perhaps – so he ought to go. I get sick of the people in power who keep passing the buck. If you are in charge, you are responsible. So take responsibility already.
And speaking of being in charge … here’s my rant of the day. What is the deal with the guy who used to make a living off of selling oil (he knows the business is what I am saying) allowing the kind of gas prices to continue to spiral upward like they are. This is not Europe! I can’t even believe I am paying almost $2 for a gallon of gas. It is ridiculous. It is absurd. It is unconscionable. Newsflash to Prez. Bush and all the politicians WHO GET FREE GAS FOR THEIR LIMOS AND SUVS courtesy of the American taxpayers … We don’t like paying that much for gas, no do we have the money… because unlike the gas prices… our salaries DONT DO NOT INCREASE AS GAS PRICES INCREASE!
I tell you this, I need to find a 4 cylinder car for this summer… or maybe I will just buy one of those Honda scooters.
forget Iraq and gas, what is more important than me and my new powerbook???
I can’t get over how solid this thing is, and it’s the most user friendly computer I have ever owned. All I do now is sit and record. It’s way too much fun.
I totally agree! 😉 You go BOY!
