Involvement = Change

Posted on Tuesday 30 September 2003 by Joshua

Kevin made a very good point regarding change. We can either sit by and complain about how bad the government sucks, or do something to change it. I am a strong proponet in signing petitions and writing my elected officials. It is so easy to send an email to voice your opinion. Don’t be someone who idly sits by and does nothing. Get involved, and at the very least, let those who are supposed to represent you know your feelings, and how their actions in DC affects you – the American public.

Indiana Legislators: All you do is type in your zip code and you can locate your legislator and email them from this page:
http://www.in.gov/apps/sos/legislator/search/

Regarding the do not call list:
The FTC is encouraging people to keep signing up for the list. Consumers can register and file complaints about telemarketer violations at www.donotcall.gov or by calling 1-888-382-1222.

FCC officials said complaints will be forwarded to their agency for enforcement. Consumers can also file complaints directly with the FCC by calling 1-888-225-5322.
