I was watching TV the other night and saw this commercial for the new Ford F350 Turbo diesel. There was this big icebreaker ship with 6 diesel engines and it just didn’t have enough power to break through the ice, so of course they needed a 7th engine. So they hitch the truck to the front of the ship and it pulls the ice breaker through the ice. It isn’t a bad commercial or anything, but the part that just makes me laugh is the fact that they write “dramatization” under it. You know, it’s a good thing you put that under there, because if you hadn’t, I might have actually believed that a little pickup truck could pull a massive ship through solid ice with a length of 1/2″ cable. Obviously it is a dramatization! I just think it is funny they feel the need to state the obvious.
