I just got back from the License Branch. Bless those ladies for being all sympathetic of my sob story. They told me that Winona cops are like that. I am not surprised. I was once stopped for “looking suspicious” as I drove home from my office to my house because i had to take all these side streets to get there… The best part was the guy who “pulled me over” did it in my driveway. He did not turn his lights on til I got out of the car, and then asked me “Do you know why I pulled you over.” I was like, “I live here.” But anyway…yeah, he said I was driving suspiciously, but couldn’t really tell me why. And since he had no other reason to say anything else, he just left. I was so amazed by that one. Anyway, at least I did not get stopped last night in Allen county. I guess the cops there have been known to not even offer a ride back. That would have been wonderfull.. standing on the side of the road 30 miles from home… I think I still would have walked!
Anyway, enough whining for now… Life goes on. Thanks Scott for letting me use your car even though you did not know why. The mark of a good friend is when you ask them to borrow their car and they just hand you the keys no questions asked.
