Heart Update

Had a nice visit today at the Heart Center in Ft. Wayne. Bob, Deanna & boys, Dave, Liz, Betty, myself and Robert all joined with Levi & Joanna and Ev, Candy and Danielle today to visit Denny. Of course, not all at once, as he is in ICU and is not allowed that many at a time – technically just family, and 2-3 at a time for short times. Anyway, he is doing so well. He is talking and eating, and they hope to have him up and walking tomorrow – or at least sitting up and standing. The report from the nurses is that he is progressing remarkably well – even better than most of the bypass patients on the floor. He is not in much pain and is on a very light pain medication. So all that to say, God is definitely good! We just need to keep him in prayer for three things: That his body would not reject the heart, for no infection to be transmitted to him in any way, and that his sugar level would even out.
