Well folks, it is yet another year in my journeys across the fair land of Ireland, and this year brings me to Malahide Castle, one of the “oldest and most historic castles in Ireland. From 1185 until 1975, it was the home of the Talbot family. This was a remarkable tenure by a single family and is one of the longest in Ireland.” Last year I enjoyed my trip to Notre Dame, but this year I decided to take a quick flight to the emerald isle and visit this splendid place.
Interesting Fact: Patrick used the three leaves of a shamrock to explain the Christian holy trinity: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Anyway lads and lassies… enjoy the day and as the old blessing says… “May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of his hand.”
