Happy Birthday Macintosh

Happy Birthday Apple Macintosh. Today is her 21st birthday. I will never forget my first Mac. It was a 512ke (similar to the one pictured above). I paid $875 for it. 9″ black and white screen, 512k of RAM, a 400k floppy drive with another external drive, and an Imagewriter II printer which was the loudest thing I ever owned. Mine also came with a nice carrying case (since these were portable) and also a nice cooling unit on top (because it packed so much processing power). I loved that thing. Since that day way back in the late 80’s, I have been hooked on Macs ever since. I do not plan to change either. I love my Mac.

Hahahaha!!! That picture brings back memories. I should find some pictures of our old…Commodore 64. It was an apple and looked similar to that picture, but it was much bigger. 🙂 It had an Atari attached to the back of the keyboard, I would play Pac Man, Summer and Winter Games…oh…those were the days. Happy Birthday Mac! 🙂 (this post just makes me smile! Thanks Josh for bringing back the memories.)
