It would be remiss of me not to end this day with a birthday shout out to my good friend, Liz Carey. She turns 30 today. The 30th year is a remarkable time for many people. After all, this was the year that Jesus began His public ministry and it seems that many people transition into some cool things in their 30th year. My 30th was the year I moved to Voice Ministries. So Liz, on the 30th year of your life, I hope and pray that God would give you an amazing start of a new season – already you have begun something with Dave – a journey to something new and uncertain, but a big step forward in faith. I pray that the favor of the Lord would go before you. May doors be opened for you to move ahead with boldness and confidence – believing in the great destiny and purpose to which you have been called. I pray that you will experience the peace that passes all understanding and comprehension, the joy that fills your being, and the overwhelming love of the Father, lavished deeply upon you. May the bond of unity between you and Dave be ever so strong, and may any attempts by the enemy fail miserably because God’s love is so evident in your lives. May this year also be a year of great fun, excitement, and adventure. For what would a year the life of Dave and Liz be without some adventures. Last year is was Africa… who knows what this year will bring! Have an awesome week or two or three of birthday fun. Blessings upon you!
I LOVE YOU LIZ!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Happy Happy Birthday! 🙂
That Liz Carey, finds herself deep in the hearts of those who are blessed to call her a friend. Great amounts of love are pouring out from the Michiana area for you Liz! (Share some with Dave too, alright?).
What an amazing blessing to have amazing people to call friends. Thanks! We are always up for an adventure, so we’ll see where the next one takes us. 🙂
Can anyone say, “Children”?
Children eh!!! 🙂 I think that would be exciting. Hope you had the best birthday ever Liz. It is a blessing to call you friend.
Beautifully written. I pray she has the best birthday presents from Heaven; the kind I can’t conjure up or manufacture. Those eternal blessings are so precious and never falter. They’re perfect.
Happy Birthday Liz! It’s funny you should mention the word “children”? I actually had a dream last night that you and Dave were expecting a little one. You were at IHOP-KC when you found out. How cool would that be! I sure miss you guys.
