There’s nothing like spending an extremely humid August Saturday hacking weeds and bushes wearing long sleeved shirts, gloves and jeans, but that, my friends, is exactly what Robert and I did today. There is a certain feeling of satisfaction of transforming an overgrown mess into something that looks halfway decent. Some friends of mine are getting their home ready to sell and needed some help with the insane growth of their bushes. We were able to accomplish quite a bit today, but more remains for another day. Here are some before and after pictures from today.
Front of the House Before
Front of the House After – Look we can see out the picture window now!

Side of the House After
Side of the House – Oh wow, look! A beautiful hydrangea bush!
This is the Front after… Before, it was so thick you could not even see the house from the road.
I miss you. Saw you stopped by my xanga! Hope you are well. >
that is an amazing transformation. gotta hand it to you guys, you work hard!!
Ummm..about the mind thing..I’m afraid it’s true…and if it’s not..then I sure feel like it to often.
I am sooooooooo proud of you guys! That looks INCREDIBLE!!! My eyes seriously bugged out of the sockets… kinda gross… They are back in now though. 🙂 Haha! And, yes, you can call me your cussing friend now! 🙂 Oops! I’m so embarassed!
WOW! That’s awesome. You guys worked really hard. Adrianna told me to go to your site to see what you did to her house, but I never imagined it would look like that.
What awesome pictures…I like seeing the transformation, but must admit, WITHOUT having to do the work!lol
I always loved that about your spirit, Josh. I have NEVER liked doing that kind of work. I am more of the “clearing out the weeds in the soul through conversation” type than “clearing out the soul with physical work” type. Praise to God’s hard work in you!
