Last year, I wrote a post about Voice receiving a great facility – 10 acres, a 300 seat auditorium, classrooms, kitchen, fellowship hall, etc. Of course, there is still plenty of work to be done over there, but truly, it has been a wonderful blessing. You can’t very well keep up all this property without equipment, and God has continued to bless us since last February. The first cool thing that was donated was the 94 GMC truck that I use quite a bit for all the “work” stuff – hauling, towing, whatever. It was great for hauling lawn mowers to the other facility, although not easy to get them up and down into the back of it. In the fall, one of those high powered walk behind leaf blowers was donated. Brand new. I love it. Then came winter and we needed a plow for the roads and parking lot. A man had a plow he didn’t use and donated that. Another man donated his time (and it took quite a bit of work) and bolted the thing on and wired it all up. It works great. The funny thing is though, this has been a mild winter and I think I have only had to plow three or four times with it. So, at the end of the year 2005, another guy decided to give us his Dodge Ram 2500 sport. This one is nice – 2001, turbo diesel, extended cab, with only 70,000 miles on it. It’s already gone to the Chicago airport, has pulled horse trailers and has been driven to the food bank in Indy. Then, last week, a huge answer to prayer was met for me. A man donated a brand new 16′ lawn trailer to us. He called me up last week and told me he found one for sale. I went and looked at it and gave him the two thumbs up and he got it for us. This thing will be so awesome to have because now I can get all the lawn equipment on it easily. I am pretty excited. Another guy recently donated his time and built us a horse shelter. In the spring we will paint it. So God is good. He keeps blessing us with material things and people to help out in areas. Next I am praying for a barn – actually two barns – one for the Ranch and one for equipment and tool storage. I have faith that by next February I will be able to give another report of all the amazing things that has happened this coming year.
Thats so awesome! God is good. I am excited to hear about all the things going on. Hugs and love to everyone! >darc-
Josh,
It’s great that your needs are being met, maybe you all should try to arrange an oldfashion barnrazing like the Amish.
I like your new look for the site. You and your graphic design… I especially like the typeface. I was just offered a job, so my life might not be worthless after all : ) Thanks for being there. I appreciate it more than you’ll ever know. jdf
