God’s Colors

Sunset on SR 15. This photo does not even slighty compare to the reality.

Crystal cobalt was the sky above. Reflecting the sky in darker rolling waves of midnight, the sun glinted off the crests of the water. It was the perfect day to be on the lake. Later, as I was driving home, I was surrounded by an amazing evening sky. It was like driving into an impressionist painting.

Lately, I have been driving as the sun is coming up in the morning, and then have had the opportunity to see some awesome evening skies. The colors in the sky absolutely astonish me. I know it has been said so many times, but God is truly a master artist. It is like he paints the skies with his glory, just to remind us that there is someONE so creative up there beyond our little sphere. God you are awesome. Thanks for sharing the morning and evening skies with us. Let me never take them for granted.
