From IHOP-Michiana

Posted on Monday 3 May 2004 by Joshua

Staff meetings at Voice begin in a completely different way than anywhere I have ever worked. For two hours every Monday we all assemble in the Prayer Center for worship and intercession. To begin the new week worshipping through awesome music with all the people that you love and work with, to join in prayer crying out for those in need of healing, in need of a touch from Jesus, really takes the focus off of myself and puts life into a different perspective His. There are so many different people involved from so many radically different walks of life. From pastors, to factory workers, to little kids, to singers, to african nationals the scope is broad, but the purpose is singular: to praise and exalt the name of Jesus Christ and see the House of Prayer raised up in the Michiana area and beyond. It is truly an awesome place to be, and I would not want to be anywhere else!

My job has taken a new direction. I have left full time at DC Design and gone fuill time with Voice as the Director of Operations. It was my heart when I first left Grace and moved up here to be full time with Voice, but we weren’t ready yet, and I wasn’t either. It was an awesome year and I am still going to be working with Dave & Liz on a freelance basis. But my position at Voice is so fun! I love it and it is going to be a challenge that, as Corky says, “one that I accepted.”
