Foot Blessing

Posted on Wednesday 20 October 2010 by Joshua

Let me just tell you how amazing the Lord is in the little things. Yesterday, my good friends, Dave & Liz, gave me a pair of Cabela’s shoes. They are nice rugged walking shoes and brilliantly comfortable. Dave found them at Goodwill and paid either $5 or $2.50 for them. Essentially, they are brand new. I wore them tonight and I was so impressed with how comfortable they were, so just for fun I looked them up online on the store website and I was amazed. The shoes sell for $189 at Cabela’s. I did not need them, nor would I have ever paid that much for shoes, but for some reason, the Lord chose to bless me through my good friends. That’s what we talked about in class tonight… being a conduit for the blessing to flow through. It’s what I want to be and it is what they are. Even for shoes. God is good.

I’m so glad you like them. 🙂 Liz actually saw them and bought them for 2.50.
