Lately, I have been fascinated by light streams. That’s what I call them anyway. You know, when you are walking in the woods and you see rays of light coming through the trees, or when the sun is hidden behind a cloud and beams of light emanate from it like the back door to heaven got left open and some of the glory is spilling out onto the earth…at least that’s how I imagine it anyway.
But it seems like I have been noticing the light more in my daily travels. On a little morning walk through the trails on the property, the light was just streaming through the trees and the mist enhanced each leaf. It really was beautiful. Yesterday, I was raking leaves and set the pile afire. The sun was overhead and I was able to “create” my morning light stream effect. I was pretty excited about it – so I had to take a couple shots. Here’s one of my favorites.
The leaves are beginning to change to their glorious colors. The sky is cobalt blue. The nights are cold and the days are warm… this is what I love about autumn.
That’s what I see those as, too! They are awesome! It makes me fall more in love with Jesus, because of the beauty… I don’t know how to explain it… it’s all part of the mystery! Oh… one last thing…. BUDGER!!!!!!!
Yeah, that’s awesome stuff! I kinda wish I could have gone out there and taken shots with you. Beautiful stuff man!
