It’s been a few months since I visited the Michigan City Dunes. The snow has melted and the spring has come. Chad and I took a drive over last evening and saw the amazing handiwork of God displayed in brilliant washes of oranges and golds and subtle harmonic sublayers of pinks and blues juxtapositioned with white cloud streaks. It was beautiful.
The visibility was phenomenal – 7 miles, they said. And for the first time in all the years I have stood on this hill looking toward Chicago, yesterday I saw the skyline, outlined with perfect clarity.
An awesome day and enjoy the gallery >>

That looks fun. I don’t think I’ll ever get over how the sand creeps on the forest each year. Sand dunes as high or higher than trees? Craziness. Thanks for the gallery. : )
I have a couple similar shots from this weekend that I plan to post tonight or tomorrow. We were at Orchard Beach State Park. Jimmy was doing toe touches in front of the water at sunset, but I still have some blur with his feet. Did you just use faster shutter speed or what?
