How’s that for a horrendous headline. Sheesh!
Well, I drove my car last night for the first time in 2 weeks. Because of the weather, I have been using the truck to get around. This way I can plow my way out of our driveway and if I do need to plow the parking lots, the truck will be warmed up when I get there. I have definitely missed driving my car though. It is much more smooth and faster than the old Chevy…but another reason I haven’t driven it is because it is horrible in the snow. Partially this is because I need new tires, and partially it is because it is a rear wheel drive. In any event, it just doesn’t function very well in the snow.
At any rate, today is another beautiful sunny day (although still pretty cold) but I will be working inside doing some construction work at the Forerunner Center. I will also say, it is wonderful to have my Nikon back from Africa. Dave and Liz took it there for a couple weeks. Check out some of their pics – they are pretty amazing. My poor Canon has decided to not work anymore. I am getting an error message that, from my brief research, pretty much means she is dead. Sigh. She has been very very faithful over the past 3 years, and I have taken many thousands of pictures with her. We’ll see if there is a possible way to get her fixed.
And in other very exciting news, I received such a thoughtful package yesterday from my friend Dahci in MA. It was definitely something that every person should have and I, for one, was grateful for her gesture of generosity and kindness.
glad you can enjoy them! 🙂
