Did you ever read about something and it was all just a bunch of words to you and then when you saw it [actually occuring before your eyes], you were just so speechless because you never could have imagined it would be like what you just saw and way worse than what you read… yeah, that was my weekend. Living here is so much more intense than even I would have imagined. I realize that the church is so ill-equipped to deal with people where they are, what they carry inside … myself included.
